The INNO Square Twister Rotor Pump is not a class of centrifugal pump nor a vortex type pump, but a patented and proven application of the twister phenomenon which creates and harnesses a dynamic fluid twister effect within the pump housing and inlet. This effect is similar to that which occurs in a twister. The twister generates a high velocity rotating air mass with a central column of increasingly high pressure reaching toward the ground surrounded by peripheral low pressure eddies. As the lower tip of the twister touches down on the ground, objects are drawn into the low pressure peripheral eddies. This effect enables the twister to pulverize and pick up and carry objects into the rotating air masses. like wise in the INNO Square Twister ROTOR PUMP, a very strong synchronized central column flow develops from the pump rotor to the pump inlet and creates a low pressure reverse twister flow from the pump inlet to the pump discharge. This action enables the INNO Square Twister Rotor Pump to achieve significant operational and maintenance performance improvements above and beyond centrifugal and vortex pumps.
(The layers of fluid at he walls are stationary, creat in a protective boundary layer)Dr. Bog - hwan Shin, the inventor of the INNO Pump, describes the operation of the pump as follows: The INNO Pump consists of an energy generating Square Twister Rotor attached to the end of a drive shaft (2) and placed within a half volute (3). As the rotor begins to spin, it sets into motion the ambient fluid present within the half-volute and adjoining intake chamber (4). At normal operating speed, this spinning fluid is forced down, into the hollow center of the intake chamber where it creates a high speed, twister synchronized column of fluid (5) which agitates the material (6) to be pumped (sludge, sand, clay etc.) This swirling column of fluid creates a peripheral "twister" effect (7) which causes the agitated material to travel by reverse flow, up, along the sides of the intake chamber, into the volute. Here the material, under pressure from below, is forced into the discharge pipe (8).
This action also results in a region of negative pressure in the vicinity
of the pump seal. The negative pressure enables the pump to
achieve zero leakage with a very simple seal design

사각회오리 로타 는 반볼류트 케이싱(3)내에 있고 주축에 고정된 로타(1)는 동일 간격의 경사를 이룬 방사형 
5개의 날개와 5개의 완만한 경사를 이룬 홈을 가진 간단한 구조의 로-타이다.  완만한 경사의 홈으로 부터
발생되는 회전력에 의해 원심력의 기울기 압력과 저압 회오리 압력을 발생시켜 로타중심부로부터 강력한  
저압의 에너지(4)를 흡입부 의 바닥 까지 전달하며 점성유체,복합스라리, 고형물 과 유체에 유입된 다량의 
공기 및 가스를 포함한 유체를 바닥으로 부터 흡입시키며 이때 흡입시 마모와 공동현상 없이 이루어진다
이러한 원리로 유체를 흡입시 고진공으로 유입하게 되고 동시에 방사형 5개의 사각외면에 의해 강력한고압
에너지 로 전환 되며 반볼류트형의 케이싱에 유입된 유체는 5개의 홈에의해 케이싱 내벽으로 흩어지고자

의 얇은 경게층을 이루며 케이싱과 로타의 마모 없이 각종 슬라리를 이송하는 펌프의 원리
또한 사각회오리 로타 펌프는 로타의 면이 다량의 마모가 발생된다 하더라도 그 성능은 변하지 않으며
